The Content:
Whoever made the hand-held video camera a reality should be made a saint because it definitely changed porn a whole lot of ways. And as it just so happens, Real Ex-Girlfriends is one of the sites that benefited from that great invention because thanks to the hand-held video camera, from being an average porn viewers, regular guys were finally able to videotape themselves having sex with their girlfriends in their own homemade porn videos. So beware any woman who let herself be taped while while having sex with her boyfriend because if she doesn't want to see herself on RealExGirlfriends, she shouldn't give him any reason to put it up there, like cheating on him or something.
Now, I find it pretty difficult to believe that ALL these are actual homemade porn videos being posted online by dumped boyfriends and jilted lovers because it most definitely would lead to lots of lawsuits. Also, thanks to their tattoos, some of the girls look very familiar, like I've seen them in other sites somewhere so there goes the “amateur/reality” bit. But still, the premise is very interesting and entertaining, to say the least, because I'm pretty sure we've all wanted to do something similar sometime in our lives. And Real Ex Girlfriends does try to make everything look real by having the videos shot mostly from the cameraman's POV and with the crappy quality of the video itself, like it's all washed out or the color contrast is set too high.
RealExGirlfriends currently has 87 photo and video sets, with each video set having an accompanying photo set that are made up of photo stills and not just screencaps.
The videos are available for downloaded as either 5-minute long split video clips or as full-length videos. In .WMV format, the videos can be had in either low- (320x180, 496 Kbps) or high-speed (512x288, 1.12 Mbps) quality but if you prefer the .MPEG format, they're also available in either low- (320x184, unknown bitrate) or high-speed (512x288, 1.12 Mbps) quality.
As mentioned, the photos are stills taken together with the videos and they can be viewed in standard 800x600 resolution.
RealExGirlfriend doesn't have any bonus network sites to offer although members do get access to 14 third-party video sites like Ass2MouthQueens, MILFBanged, and MunchMyAss, just to name a few.

The Criticism:
Like I said, some of the girls look familiar to me, like they're new pornstarlets I've seen in other sites, so if you signed up looking for real amateur girls who are unknowingly starring in their own sex videos without even knowing it's available online already, then you might be in for a little disappointment even though I can not say that these aren't real homemade tapes. Some of the stuff definitely does look real.
The photos could use a boost in size and resolution as 800x600 is too mediocre nowadays, since some sites offer photos that are twice as big as that. One-file ZIP downloads would also be nice to have, considering the number of photos that are available in a set can easily go up to 300+.
Also, what seem to be the real contributions of members posting their own ex-girlfriend's videos and photos – which is what the main content should be – are posted as bonuses. But then, some of the bonus videos seem to be recycled a few times because I clicked on two different member submissions and the same video played.
Some upsells are also visible on the main page which members can do without and not having any bonus network sites is also deplorable.
