The Site:

The Content:
Hogtied, The Original Source of Erotic Sensual BDSM. This is a really super hot bondage site. I'm not much into the torture part of these things, but the art of shibari, even if it is technically BDSM, still holds me in thrall. For those who do not know, shibari is the traditional Japanese art of immobilizing a person, while at the same time gaining sexual pleasure from the rope's squeezing of the breasts or genitals. In shibari, the aesthetics of the bound person's position is important.
In Hogtied, I saw that there was a progression from more of a Western style of bonding to an Eastern style, closer to shibari. In the older content, they made use of ropes constricting movement of the body itself by attaching ropes to hands and feet, but apart from that, the body is still free to move, albeit in its place. Also, the implements used are more typical of Western BDSM, such as leather cuffs, leather gags, leather belts and leather straps. However, as I viewed the more recent content, I saw a gradual shift incorporating more Eastern elements as using hemp ropes for tying and having the bonded persons actually suspended from the ground. Some of the most recent suspensions are so artistically made I wouldn't be surprised if they had hired a shibari artist to do it, or at least had searched the net for shibari techniques.
All in all, their content is 394 video sets, running 30-50 minutes on average. The accompanying picture galleries contain 200+ pics per set on average. Yes, this is a big and bulky site of good ol' torturous pleasure, sending out the masochists' code that sometimes, pain is so much different from pleasure.

The Criticism:
The design I think is simple and straightforward, which is great and could have worked, continued to work, if they remained but a small enough site (which is something neither they nor we want, btw). However, since they have substantially increased in volume, it might be a good idea to update the site design as well, offering things like a categorical listing, search functions, etc.

The Conclusion:
Though a bit on the higher side of the price scale at $29.90, I would definitely recommend this site to ANYONE who is just a little interested in the content. They do not offer network access, which is kind of a bummer, especially since their other sites are as quirky and enjoyable as well. Wouldn't it be great to have a network pass to all those sites... but then again, their sites do cater to different niches. In any case, the content and their site rocks! Very well done guys.
