- Old movies need to be re-encoded to keep up with the overall site quality.
Bottom Line
- Download Pass is definitely not a bad choice. While there is room for improvement (re-encoding old updates), at the given price there is very little that can go wrong here. I enjoyed DownloadPass a lot and if you like the DVDs they add, I am sure that Download Pass will make you happy at less than 10 bucks a month.

The quality of videos is not bad, and the number of contents being offered is quite impressive enough. I believe that one of the major advantages of Download Pass over competitors is its price.
Pros
- A good number of DVDs already available. As of this review there are already 3522 DVDs available - that's 18,826 scenes or 3916 hours.
- Decent content categorization. Contents in here are categorized properly from amateur to voyeurism. This proper categorization helps the members search for contents faster and easier.
- Good quality movies. Videos offered here are in .AVI (DivX) 576x432, 2048 kbps and WMV(High) 480x360, 1076 kbps. Specs of the videos are respectable.
- Decent members area design. The members area design is quite nice, it doesn't look chaotic like other DVD sites. Navigating it seems easy, and has good browse/search features.
- Good Number Of Updates. Every week, around 20 new DVDs are uploaded in Download Pass. Members can expect 80 new DVDs a month.

Cons
- There are no photo sets (but there are screencaps). In the absence of photos, Download Pass offers vid caps instead. It's not as sharp as pictures so picture lovers might not be satisfied with these.
- No updates Saturday and Sunday. No new content on these days. So better reserve these days for watching the new videos you have downloaded during weekdays.
- A lot of DVDs / studios that can be found on many other sites. DownloadPass is not exclusive. So whatever you'll see in here, you'll definitely see elsewhere as well. It would be nice if they have some DVDs that are exclusive to them only.
- Video quality could still be enhanced (higher resolution and bit rates). I would definitely like to have the best resolution as much as possible. And for sure, most of the members and would be members would as well. Increasing the resolution of the videos being offered in here would be great. Remember, Download Pass still doesn't have HD or HDV quality videos.
- Old movies need to be re-encoded to keep up with the overall site quality. Re-encoding old movies is going to help a lot. Old videos are sometimes irritating to watch since they have poor quality. Enhancing the quality of old movies is definitely what is needed for members to enjoy viewing all the videos being offered in here.
Conclusion
Download Pass is definitely a good choice. It has a lot to offer, but it also needs some improvements. The good thing about this site is the price we are currently offering to our beloved readers. So go ahead and enjoy it a very low price.
